Wilhelmina Shumway1959 - 2014Wilhelmina Shumway, 54, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home. Wilhelmina was born on Nov. 22, 1959, in Japan, the daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina (Drigot) Chambers. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married Tim Shumway in the summer of 1985, they later divorced. She was employed at various retail stores throughout the years. Her hobbies included writing, crafts, shopping, and spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren, and her best friend, Naudia. Survivors include her children, Maxwell Shumway of Kenosha, Ben (Patti Panagiotaras) Shumway of Kenosha; brothers, Vinnie (Heather) Chambers of Kenosha, Alex Chambers of Wisconsin, David (Michelle Chambers of Kenosha; grandchildren, Christian and Litsa; ex-husband, Tim (Denise) Shumway; nieces, Vanessa, Krista, and Samantha; and a nephew, Zachary. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny. A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday March 11, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
