LAURINBURG — Miss Whitney Blair Poole, 20, passed away to her Heavenly home on Oct. 14, 2013.
The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2013 at Northview Harvest Ministries with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.
Whitney was the precious and loving daughter of Anthony Wayne Poole and Barbara Ann Clark Poole born on Nov. 15, 1992. She was a special gift of God who became a wonderful witness for the Lord. She had a sparkling personality, loved being with others, and never met a stranger.
She served as a member of the North Laurinburg Baptist Church and enjoyed participating with the Angels of Drama, Project In As Much, and the Special Olympics of Scotland County. She was an avid UNC Tarheel basketball fan, loved going to gospel singings, bowling, eating out and traveling with her family. She also enjoyed Tuesday Cruisers, being with her special friends, riding on the boat and fishing.
Whitney leaves to cherish her memory her parents Wayne and Barbara Poole of the home, grandparents Charles and Lois Clark of Laurinburg and Lloyd and Ann Poole of Laurinburg, uncles and aunts Charlotte McNeill and husband Les of Rockingham, Mike Poole of Laurinburg, Sammy and Michelle Poole of Laurinburg, and Chris and Melissa Poole of Pinebluff, cousins Reyna McNeill, Kathrina McNeill, Samantha Poole, Joe Davis, Julianna Davis, Sam Poole, Jr., T.J. Hogan, Mason Hogan, and Gracie Poole, special God brothers Cody Ellis and Waylon Jackson, and all her special friends.
Visitation will be held on Oct. 17 from 6-9 p.m. at Northview Harvest Ministries.
The family requests that memorials gifts be made in Whitney's memory to the North Laurinburg Baptist Church Angels of Drama, 517 Lee's Mill Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
