Weston J. PierretLAFAYETTE - Weston J. Pierret, known by family as "Bob", was born on November 19, 1937 inLafayette, LA to the late Ament and Paul Pierret, Sr. Weston passed away on Thursday August 17, 2017 at his residence. He began his life in Lafayette, LA and currently resided in Youngsville, LA for the last 18 years. Weston will be remembered as a man good with his figures and calculations that he used for many years in the home building industry. He was General Manager of Harry Hebert Homes, Inc. and then as Director of Metro Code for the City of Lafayette before retiring at the early age of 55. Once he retired you could find him at one of the local golf courses where he was able to enjoy his love for golf. He was also able to use his skills for drawing up house plans for his kids and taking it one step further with actually helping in the building of those homes. Weston also had a love for watching sports. He enjoyed attending ULL Ragin Cajuns softball games and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play various sports. He also loved traveling.Weston is survived by his four children: sons, Davey D. Pierret and wife Karen of Youngsville, Kevin P. Pierret of St. Martinville; daughters, Wanda P. Breaux and husband Clint of Youngsville, Kimberly P. Naquin and husband Raymond of Krotz Springs nine grandchildren: Lindsey Pierret (Jeremy), Courtni Pierret (Nicky), Jacob Pierret (Ashley), Erin Wooten (Lyle), Corey Pierret, Kristian K. Breaux, Hunter L. Breaux, Dylan Moran and MacKenzi Naquin and five great grandchildren: C.J. Pierret, Madelyn Wooten, Camden Neveu, Hudson Pierret and Logan Pierret; one brother Paul Pierret, Jr. (Martha); two sisters Dorothy Champagne (Richard), and Brenda Bergeron (Chester); and numerous nieces and nephews. Weston was preceded in death by his wife, Bobie Carter Pierret and his parents Ament Lasseigne and Paul Pierret Sr.As per his wishes a memorial service will not be held, in lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to St. Joseph Hospice, 923 W.
