Wanda was born on July 21, 1918, in Burlington, VT the daughter of James and Florence (Hill) Carroll.She is survived by her 8 children; Gary and Barbara Preavy, Ron and Diana Preavy, Gail and Lanny Forgays, Karen Root, Wayne and Ruth Preavy, Craig and Robin Preavy, Lynn Bolduc and longtime partner Chuck Gordon, Kim and Tim Carrier, 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two sisters Nelda Miller and Maureen Smee, a brother Wesley Carroll, and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her sister Joan Lacourse, her brother Clem Carroll, her husband Francis Preavy, and her special friend John Byers.A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11AM at Resurrection Park Catholic Cemetery, 200 Hinesburg Road, South Burlington.
