WILLIAM DANIEL (Bill) WOODUL JR. passed away suddenly and peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the age of 89. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. He was born on October 23, 1927 and lived his entire life in El Paso. He attended Dudley Elementary, El Paso High School,
University of Texas at Austin and Texas College of Mines. In his youth, he loved music and playing drums, and played with many guest bands that toured in El Paso. He was also an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, especially if the Miners or Coronado Thunderbirds were playing. He was a simple and uncomplicated man in the finest sense of word and was fiercely independent with impeccable character and loyalty. He owned and operated Hardware Specialties and Glass Company. He was preceded in death by his beloved Chula, his wife of 62 years, his parents Eleanor Irvin and Bill Woodul, Sr., and his brother Richard Woodul. He is survived by his daughters Patty Wright (Stan) of Ft. Worth and Carol Woodul of Franklin, TN, his son Doug Woodul (Susan) of Kingwood, TX., his brother Dr. Charles Woodul of El Paso, TX., his sister Connie Woodul of Costa Rica, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
