Goldhardt Vivian Goldhardt, 92, long time Gahanna resident, passed away on January 18, 2017 at National Church Residences. Vivian was born on July 24, 1924 in Columbus to the late Lester and Mary (House) Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ron, grandchildren Brian, Craig and Sara, great grandson Tanner, siblings Vincent, Vernon, Virginia, Victor, and Vaughn. Vivian led a busy, productive life, including managing her own business for years. She had a kind heart and a readiness to help others. She loved her family, and their experiences in life brought her joy. Always active, she belonged to many bowling leagues when she was younger; when she was older, she spent much time at the Gahanna YMCA, where she was affectionately known as one of the Golden Girls. She is survived by her children, Jim (Kiyoko) Goldhardt, Sharon Huffman (Al Rose), Mary (Tim) West, Carol (Bruce) Gillespie, Judy Goldhardt, Rick (Carolyn) Goldhardt; daughter-in-law, Beth Goldhardt; grandchildren, Heidi (Scott), Tanya (Rich), Mik, Todd (Valerie), Kacey (Sean), Grant (Kelly), Kelly, Chad (Katherine), Tom (Gail), Tim (Tara), Bruce (Laurie), Cari, Stephanie, Ed, Kayla (Andrew); great grandchildren, Jake, Bri, Payton, Blaize, Chance, Piper, Alexandra, Olivia, Casimiro, Gretchen, Andrew, Spencer, Johnny, Chase, Caden, Zoe, Leah, Luke, Owen, Quince, Cash, Morgan, Olivia, Hunter, Lily. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Celebrant Mark Dettmer officiating. Burial will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
