Virginia Montour, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Dec. 20, 2012 at her home in Albuquerque.She was born on March 22,1932 in Ojitos Frios, to the late Filimon Montaño and Eligia Barreras- Montano. Virginia grew up and was raised in Romeroville, but has been a longtime resident of Albuquerque, where she was also a member of the Assembly of God Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Filimon Montaño and Eligia Barreras-Montaño and brothers, Leroy Montaño, Estevan Montaño, Eugenio Montaño and Max Montaño. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Muñoz and her husband Jose of Albuquerque, Norma Delayo and her husband Robert of Albuquerque; sons, Robert Montour and wife Delia of Texas, Angelo Montour and wife Darlene of Los Lunas. She is survived by her 11 grandchildren; 28 great- grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Carmen Montaño, Tillie Montaño, Isabel Gallegos all of Albuquerque, Leo Montaño and wife Frances of Romeroville and Adam Montaño and wife Betty of Las Vegas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas. Interment will follow at La Manga Cemetery in La Manga with the following serving as casket bearers: Master Sgt. Juan Muñoz, Isaac Montour, Jose Muñoz Jr., Hector Aranda, Eli Montour, Alfred Gonzales, and Robert Delayo.
