LOGAN - Violet Marguerite Koller Dawson, 90, of Logan, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Logan Regional Hospital.She was born on Sept. 1, 1920, in Weston, Idaho, a daughter of Anton Samuel and Selma Alta Nielson Koller. She graduated from Weston High School as the Valedictorian of her class. On June 28, 1938, she married Wallace DeVon Dawson in the Logan LDS Temple. He passed away April 10, 1984. They were the parents of five children. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in the Relief Society, Primary and as a temple officiator for ten years in the Logan LDS Temple.She is survived by her children, Karol and Cleve Smith, Sublett, Idaho, Kathy and Bill Parker, Bahia Kino, Mexico, Val and Debbie Dawson, Centerville, Utah, Ann and Bill Nangle, Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, Evan Koller, Logan; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, and a son, Dale DeVon Dawson.Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Logan 9th Ward chapel, 100 E. 500 North. There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. and at the church on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Weston, Idaho Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Friday.
