She was born on August 17, 1953 to the late Clint and Mabel (McKnight) Wilbourn, Jr. She was a life long Matawan resident and was a member of St. James A.M. E. Zion Church, Matawan, NJ. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Germaine Ian Wilbourn, and Evelina Wilbourn-Townes, and her nephew Robert Joyner, Jr. He is survived by his devoted companion Vincent Davis, Matawan, NJ, two dear friends, Sheron Murray and Mrs. Gertie Shaw, Aberdeen, NJ, one sister Nancy Wilbourn, Freehold, NJ, and two daughters, Maryanna Wilbourn-Spratton and La'Naila Wilbourn; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren She also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives, church family and friends.A viewing will be held from 10:00 until noon on Wednesday at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church, Matawan, NJ. The funeral will begin at noon. Rev. Martha Tomlin will Officiate. Interment will follow at Union Prospect Cemetery, Aberdeen, NJ. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
