Wespetat, VeronicaVeronica Wespetat, 92, Marshfield, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until service time.Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Vernonica was born on April 5, 1925 in the Town of Sharon, Portage County, to August and Martha (Schulfer) Zinda. She married Charles E. Wespetat on November 18, 1944 in Crown Point, IN. He died on March 19, 1966. Veronica was employed at North and South Parkway Grocery Stores in Marshfield. She also had been a crossing guard for the City of Marshfield until retiring in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Donna ((Brian Schulist) Lee of Stevens Point and 5 grandchildren, Tristan (Liz) Lee, Kyle (Sarah) Lee, Aaron (Lori) Kramer, Scott (Nancy) Kramer and Michael Brandt and 3 great grandchildren, Kendall, Ava and Finn Lee. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Dick Kramer, a sister, Mary (Fritz) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids and her extended family, the Giese's. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son, Edward "Skeeter" Wespetat, a daughter, Karen Kramer, a great grandson, Carson, a sister, Evelyn Smaglick, and brothers, Leo, Norbert "Nub", Martin, Jerome and Ferd Zinda.
