Uola Alberta Cox1923 - 2016With profound sadness and with wonderful memories, we announce that Uola (Bunny) Cox, aged 93, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in Regina. Uola was born on June 27, 1923 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, the eldest of three children, to Murray and Mayme Bunnell. Uola was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harley, special friend Steve and grandson Cayley. Uola is survived by her children, Donna (Terry) Sylvester, Douglas (Cheryl), Sandra (Douglas) Berube, and Donald (Ann), brothers John and Raymond (Phoebe), sister-in-law Pearl, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Throughout her life, Mom was involved with Easter Star, The Royal Canadian Legion, and the Elks. She also enjoyed and loved gardening, sewing, playing cards, the lake cabin and family gatherings. In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to W. J. Jones Funeral Home.Dayna Chamberlain - Funeral Director
