TWYLA M. KNELLER, 90 FREEPORT - Twyla M. Kneller, 90, of Freeport, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Freeport Rehabilitation Center in Freeport. She was born on May 21, 1923, in Stephenson County, IL, the daughter of E.C. and Lydia (Heise) Stemm. Twyla married Elmer Kneller on April 11, 1954; he died on February 9, 1997. Mrs. Kneller was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed embroidering and gardening. Surviving are her son, Kevin Kneller of Freeport; sister, Eileen Brubaker of Freeport; and sister-in-law, Joann Stemm. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Julie Bunt, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Grand View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory.
