Thompson, Tommie Jay,Tommie Jay Thompson, 71, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Tommie was a 1965 graduate of Desales High School. He loved basketball, music, and enjoyed rosary making. He was born on December 23, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jake D. Thompson, Jr. and Mary Ann (Cheney) Thompson.Tommie is survived by his siblings, Linda Paine (Nick), and Mark Thompson (Karla); nieces and nephews, Nikki Cornett, Abbi Locke (Bryan), Konner Thompson, and Spencer Thompson; five great-nieces and nephews; uncle, Jack Cheney; a host of many cousins, and other family members. After cremation, a Funeral Mass, celebrating his life, will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Road, Louisville, KY.
