Todd Dennis Thede, age 57, of Oshkosh, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 (the day before he was supposed to start his diet!). He will be sadly missed by his wife Patti, his children, Isaiah, Jordan, Abigail and Jackson and the many family members and friends who shared his life. He was born on January 21, 1960 to the late Lloyd and Vila (Kuehl) Thede. Todd grew up in Neenah and was a graduate of Neenah High School. On June 30, 2007 Todd married Patti Komatz in Neenah. Todd was the 10-year owner and operator of Thede Landscaping. He later spent his career as an over the road trucker, most recently making deliveries for Karl's Transport based in Antigo. He enjoyed the outdoors especially camping trips with his children. This past winter, he got back into skiing with his family. Just last month, he was already booking places to ski with his family for this upcoming winter. Todd was famous for his sense of humor and his gregarious and friendly personality. He appreciated antiques and rummage sale finds. He was a faithful WELS church member at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.Todd is survived by his brothers: Troy and Travis (Jennifer) Thede; his sisters: Terri (Steve) Ludwig and Tracey Thede; and his step-mother: Susan Thede. He is further survived by many extended family members who shared their love for him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vila (Kuehl) Thede.A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 3:00PM at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street, with Rev. Chadwick Graham officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.Todd's family would like to express their gratitude to the First Responders and Oshkosh Police Dept. for their assistance.I lost the love of my life and best friend when you died.
