Thomas H. Caylor, Jr "Tommy"Knoxville, TNThomas H. Caylor, Jr. "Tommy", age 89 went home peacefully to be with the Lord on August 4, 2017 at his home. Tommy was born on August 23, 1927 to the late Thomas and Pearlie Caylor. After school he joined the U.S Navy and was Discharged Honorably as Navy Seaman 1st Class WWII. Then came out and joined the Iron Workers #384 where he retired. He was a Pastor of Holston Hills Free Will Baptist Church and 1st Free Will Baptist Church for 43 years. He loved his church family so much. Tommy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Norma Jean; son, Jerry Lynn and wife Sharon, and daughter, Cathy Lou. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Betty, Katherine, Carol and Patsy; and brother, Howard. He is survived by his daughter, Vicky; son, Tommy Caylor, III; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandkids, sister, Shirley; brother, Carl; and sister, Linda. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at First Free Will Baptist Church at 4301 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. John McCann, Rev. James (Jim-Bo) Duncan, Rev. Dale Walker and Thomas H. Caylor, III officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service with Full Military Honors by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
