GREEN - Thomas F. on December 11, 2016. Thomas F. Green of Marco Island, Florida (formerly of Islip, NY) bid farewell to the cares of this world and joined his beloved wife, Gladys in their eternal rest. Thomas was born on December 11, 1923 in Queens, NY. He attended St. Lawrence University and was a WWII Combat Veteran. He was a successful businessman until 1987 when he retired to Marco Island. Thomas is survived by his two sons, Michael (Kate), Frank Sr. (Jamie), daughter Joyce, five grandchildren, Thomas, Luke, Frank Jr. (Brittany), Caroline and Katherine and one great grandson, Achilles. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services are on December 17th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Hodges Josberger Funeral Home on Marco Island. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in his name to Vitas Hospice of Naples, FL.
