Thomas E. FergusonRED LIONThomas E. Ferguson, 75, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Susan (Dawson) Stump Ferguson to whom he was married for 12 years. He was the also the husband of the late Sandra A. (Weisensale) Ferguson.A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church, 250 Bethlehem Church Road, Red Lion, with Rev. Thomas R. Osenbach and Rev. Timothy Funk officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.Tom was born on March 2, 1941 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Thomas E. and Anna C. (Donelly) Ferguson. He first retired from Quaker Oats Co. and then later also retired from Cecil County, MD Sheriff's Department.In addition to his wife, Mr. Ferguson is survived by a daughter, Cynthia K. and husband James Anderson of Stewartstown; a son, Gregory S. and wife Bonnie Ferguson of New Freedom; a stepson, Brent D. Stump of State College; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Patricia Paulson of Newark, DE and Annetta Dale of Wilmington, DE. He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas E. Ferguson, Jr. and Jeffrey M. Ferguson; and a daughter, Deborah E.
