Thomas E. BrockhouseMarch 25, 1930 - March 07, 2017TulareThomas E. Brockhouse, 86, of Tulare, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017.He was born on March 25, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA. Tom enlisted and served in the Navy Reserve from 1947 to 1959. Tom graduated from California State University of Fresno in 1953. He returned to Los Angeles area to be employed at Orange Coast Junior College as a farm manager. He came back to the Central Valley in 1957 to start farming in Tulare. After farming he worked for Security Pacific National Bank for 24 years as Vice President in the Real Estate Appraisal Department. He enjoyed being involved with Boy Scouts of America and Knights of Columbus. In his spare time Tom enjoyed flying airplanes and traveling with his wife Isabel.Tom is preceded in death by his parents Thomas E. & Ruth C. Brockhouse and his sister Barbara Dorricott. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Isabel S. Brockhouse, his daughter Anamarie Bratcher of Birmingham, AL, his son Jim (Christy) Brockhouse of Lodi, CA, one grandson, two granddaughters, as well as two sister-in-law's and one brother-in-law, Josephine Gonzalez of Fresno, Martha Sanchez of Tulare, Michael Garcia of Porterville and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home, 151 North "H" Street, Tulare. St. Aloysius Altar Society Rosary will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, 4:00 p.m.at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:15 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 East Pleasant Avenue, Tulare with burial at Tulare District Cemetery.
