Thomas Eric Burgess HOPKINS - Thomas Eric Burgess, 30, of Hopkins, South Carolina passed away October 28, 2016 in Greer, South Carolina. He was born on June 16, 1986 in Columbia, South Carolina to Teb and Margo Bolen Burgess. Eric was a diehard Clemson Tigers football fan. He loved snowboarding, wakeboarding and keeping the wind in his face. He was loved by everyone he met and always had a crowd with him. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Eric most loved being around friends and family. Eric is survived by his girlfriend, Courtney Nichole Montgomery of Greer, SC; his beloved dog, Chevy; a sister, Emma Leigh Burgess Padgett (James) of Columbia, SC; Aunts, Sherri Daggerhart (Gene) of Gaffney SC and Carla Campbell (Steve) of Charleston, SC. Eric also leaves behind many cousins to treasure his memory.
