Theodore Ray "Ted" Alejski, 78, of Whittemore passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at McLaren Hospital in Bay City. He was born on Oct. 12, 1936 in Detroit. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Alice Alejski; mother- and father-in-law, Mary and Clarence Kaltz; daughter, Katherine Claire; brothers, Edward, Chester, John, Clarence, David and Bill; sisters, Helen and Florence; and son-in-law, Gordon Revord. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy (Kaltz) Alejski; daughters, Mary Alice Revord of Whittemore, Julie (Rob) Anderson of East Tawas, Kelly (Phillip) Mackenzie of Turner, and adopted daughter, Linda Macdougall of Hamtramck; grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan (Michelle) Revord, Amanda Rahkola, Andrea (Matt) Turner, Michael Anderson, James Stachlewicz, Samantha Hudson, Jordan (Angi) Mackenzie, Mackenzie, Colyn Mackenzie and Miranda Macdougall; great grandchildren, Gordy Revord, Camden Turner, Madilynn Stachlewicz, Jayden Hudson, Benjamin and Dominic Mackenzie; nephew, Donald (Diane) Androsuk; brother, Bob (Colleen) Kaltz; and sister, Mary Ann Kaltz; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, friends and "granddogs."For years Ted owned and operated "Caravan Radiator" in Whittemore. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church parish. He loved fishing, cars, watching the races, playing cards with friends, auctions, Lionel Trains and ice cream. His greatest love of all was that of family, friends, and his wife, Dorothy. He is remembered as a good man: a loving father, husband and friend to many.A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. (instate at 10 a.m.) on Saturday, May 16 at St. James Catholic Church in Whittemore. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Twinning. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and will go towards funeral arrangements.
