Teresa Johnson was born on November 7, 1960 to her Mother, Mabel Johnson and Father, Lemon Buck. She was raised in Little Washington, North Carolina and educated in the North Carolina school system. She received a Bachelor's degree from St. Augustine's College in Raliegh, North Carolina.

Teresa worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 37 years. She was loved and cherished by all her family, friends and co-workers. If you ever needed a favor, she was always there for you. She was very loving and giving to all around her.

On July 31, 2020, God called her home to those white pearly gates. On her last day on earth she slept away peacefully, bidding the world goodbye. Her job on earth was now done, as she is now one of God's Angel's who is watching over us all. Teresa leaves to mourn her immediate family which consists of her Mother- Mabel Johnson; Sister- Satia Lewis; Two nieces- Marnae Lewis and Janelle Smith. Along with her Aunt- Evelyn Ewing; Cousin- Gloria and a hosts of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
