Teresa "Teddy" Johnson peacefully passed over from this life and joined the choir of Heavenly Angels on August 11, 2017. Teresa was born on August 6, 1936 in Alamogordo, NM to Daniel and Anita Johnson. She was born the eighth child of nine. She is survived by one sister, Angelita Johnson Walters, and one brother, Pete Johnson, both of Alamogordo. Teddy traveled to and lived in several different states with the family of her oldest sister, Ruth McClarin. She enjoyed traveling and spreading joy and sunshine wherever she went. Teddy lived a vibrant life; loved dancing, laughing, and spreading love. She especially enjoyed the years she lived and worked in California. Teresa was a devoted Catholic who belonged to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a member of the Saint Teresa Society of the Little Flower. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Johnson, mother, Anita Johnson.The Rosary for Teresa Johnson will be recited at 10:30 am on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Friday, August 25, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Friends and family are invited to bring a "special dish" to contribute to the joyous Celebration of Life for Teresa. Although she never had children of her own, she thoroughly loved and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Aunt Teddy was adored for her bubbly personality, sense of fun, and infectious laughter.
