BERWYN Susan H. Klenk, 66, passed away on March 13, 2015, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in York, after a long battle with dementia. Susan was born on January 30, 1949, in Philadelphia to Mary and Charles McGonigal. Susan was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School in Gwynedd Valley, Pa. She devoted much of her life to the raising of her children and to careers in retail and banking. She enjoyed spending time with her family, volunteering, and shopping. She will be remembered for her great smile and compassion for others. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Charles Joseph; her brother, Charles "Bud"; and her children's father, Warren Klenk. She is survived by her sister, Joan Hofmann (Richard) of Boca Raton, Fla.; children, Katy Theroux (Todd) of Houston, Texas, Susan Brousseau (Mark) of York, Joe Klenk (Danielle Drahus) of Wayne. Also survived by 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and family and friends. Funeral Mass Thursday 11 a.m. at Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, 2316 Fairhill Ave., Glenside, PA 19038. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the Church after 10 a.m. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
