Steven A. Christopherson1968 - 2016Steven A. "Steve" Christopherson, 48, passed away at his family home on Sept. 22, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1968, in Kenosha, Wis. He was educated in Kenosha and met the love of his life, best friend and wife of 32 years, Kimberly Carrell. Steve and Kim traveled to various construction sites with the family business until eventually settling in Tupelo, Miss. They raised three beautiful daughters and two grandsons. They surely will have great lasting memories of "Daddy" and especially remember the love and affection he had for them. Survivors include his wife, Kim of Tupelo, Miss.; daughters, Heather Christopherson of Statham, Ga., Robynn (Cy Atherton) and Samantha (Ben Parmer) Christopherson, both of Tupelo, Miss.; grandsons, Jaxson Parmer (Steves super buddy) and brand new baby, Kayden Atherton of Tupelo; proud mother and father, Larry and Sheri Christopherson of Bogart, Ga.; sister, Lori Kutch (Andrew) of Statham, Ga.; three nephews, one niece, uncle, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leslie and Florence Christopherson, Arnold and Dorothy Isaacson VanMarter, step-father and "oldest buddy," David VanMarter; and mother-in-law, Patricia Carrel. He adored those girls and grandbabies - his pride and joy. He loved meeting people and had a wicked sense of humor. He loved the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubbies and sports. Stevies thoughts were never far from his childhood spent in Crystal Falls, Michigan (Fortune Lake) fishing, boating and random shenanigans with his sister and David. He loved his German Shepherds, the late Heidi Von and Hank. The family will remember his kindness, his smile and his devotion to family. He leaves earth with a piece of our hearts. Memorials may be made to the , 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311. A celebration of Steves life will be held at a later date. W. E.
