Stephen V. ThomasAge: 51Stephen V. Thomas, age 51, passed away on April 16, 2017. He was born on May 26, 1965 in Burlington, VT to Richard H. Thomas and Johanna V. Kebabian, and most recently lived in Springfield, NJ where he ran his own carpentry business. A graduate of The Putney School and the University of Chicago, Stephen had a wonderfully diverse professional life, spending many years as a writer for, among others, Sports Illustrated, Fox Sports, CNNSI.com and Smart Money before turning his attentions to his passion for carpentry and wood working. An avid and accomplished long-distance runner, Stephen will be remembered for his quick wit, generosity, intelligence, and devotion to family and friends.Stephen is survived by his sons, Henry and Ethan, and their mother, Susan Brody; his mother, Johanna V. Kebabian; his siblings, Jonathan Bourne, Christopher Bourne, Susan Laskaris, Sarah Bourne, and David Thomas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.Family, friends, and others whose lives Stephen touched are invited to the Burlington Friends Meeting House located at 173 N.
