Steve was born on July 21, 1952 in Stockton.He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Muriel Novinger, and sister Dianne Gunter.Steve is survived by his wife Patricia of Lockeford, his daughter Alicia Hufford (Wade) of Lodi, their sons Noah and Jax, his son Stephen of Lockeford, his brother Terry Novinger (Joanne) of Stockton and his sister Mary Ulring of Stockton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Steve studied many forms of martial arts and had a special love for the Filipino art of Escrima. He was a member of Bahalana and an SLD Club practitioner for 31 years as well as a certified instructor. He loved his motorcycles, enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and could dance like James Brown. He was the life of the party wherever he went.Steve loved his family and friends and adored his two grandsons Noah and Jax. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 12:00 P.M., at The Merlot Event Center, 23 W. Elm St. Lodi, CA.
