Boyles, StellaStella M. Boyles, age 98, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017, at Arborwood Lodge.Services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.Stella was born on August 25, 1919, in Hancock, WI to the late James and Edna (Waltenberg) McGregor. Her marriage to Frank Boyles took place on February 23, 1937, in Hancock. Frank died on April 19, 1995.Stella was a mother and homemaker. She also worked at Riverview Hospital for 18 years. Stella was a business representative for hospital workers union for 12 years. She was a volunteer driver for Wood County social services for 25 years.Survivors include her children: Lucille Kinney, Robert Boyles, David (Mary) Boyles, and Royce Boyles; and her sister, Clydia Spees. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Stella was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Frank Boyles; son-in-law, Raymond Kinney; sister, Belva Crothers; and brothers, Robert McGregor and Jim McGregor.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Heartland Hospice and Arborwood Lodge.
