Sharon Gail Davis of Greenbush, formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Tawas City, age 77. Sharon was born on June 15, 1936 in Flint to Frederick and Marie (Morris) Lingenfelter. She was a former teacher's aide volunteer at St. Pius X Church in Flint. She also truly enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon was a current member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda. Sharon is survived by her two loving sons, Jeff P. Davis of Flint and Mark J. (Marcia) Davis of Swartz Creek; five grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Fogelsonger of Wyoming, Michigan, Tracy (Jeff) Curtis in Flushing, James Davis, Jenna Davis and Jessica Davis all of Swartz Creek; three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jeffrey and Elliott; her longtime significant other, Harold Carriveau; one sister, Sandra Seath of Flushing; two nephews, Tim and Scott Seath; one niece, Jill Martin; and many dear friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Davis; and her parents, Frederick and Marie Lingenfelter. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda with Father Charles Donajkowski officiating.
