Sharon Esther Tennenbaum Haight NAPANOCH- Sharon Esther Tennenbaum Haight of Napanoch, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Vassar Brother’s Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, with her beloved family by her side. She was 63. The daughter of Lillian Schocoff Tennenbaum and the late Norman Tennenbaum, Sharon was born on Sept. 7, 1953 in Ellenville. Sharon attended Ellenville Central Schools and married Larry Haight on April 10, 1974. After 25 years of service as a bookkeeper, Sharon retired from Ulster- Greene ARC. Sharon loved to bowl, ice skate, and entertain the ones around her. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Haight; sons, Brian Haight and his wife Robin and Matthew Haight and his wife Debra; niece, Tami Finerow; mother, Lillian Tennenbaum; beloved grandchildren, Briana, Aidan, Cameron and Jacob; brothers, Steven Tennenbaum and his wife Elise, and Bruce Tennenbaum and his wife Noreen; sister-in-law, Hillary Figueroa and her husband Carl as well as her brother-in-law David Haight. Along with her father, Sharon was preceded by her sisters Nancy Tennenbaum and Wendy Cypert. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the ICU nurses and staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Joanne Justiniano, and Gary Haight for all of their support. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc-Congregation Anshe Tzaydik, 186 Canal Street, Ellenville, N.Y., 12428, with Rabbi Moshe Frank Officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Ezrath Israel Synagogue Cemetery, Route 209 in Wawarsing.
