Sarah Downing, 53, of Baltimore Maryland, died Monday, August 14, 2017. She was born to Robert downing, and Tammy Latrell, April 02, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. She married Tate Johnson in [1990]., and they lived together in Baltimore.

Sarah worked at Johns Hopkins hospital until she retired in 2000. She also volunteered at the House of Ruth of Maryland in 2001-2017 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Sarah is survived by 4 children: Tony P. Catherine Rose , Lillie, and Rafael .Her many grand children ,she loved all . 

My mother impacted lives she impacted this family and she left us not early not late but with a bigger purpose. She was a strong woman so strong her presence lives within the ones she held dear .

God truly blessed our family with an angel here on earth and even as we mourn we accept that though her work here is finished her loving spirit is what will keep our souls comfort . I can still hear her laughs .
