Sandra LittletonDes MoinesSandra Lee Littleton, age 67, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 with her family by her side.She was born on May 21,1950 and raised in Wilmette, Illinois. Sandra graduated with a nursing degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. In 1976, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa. Sandra took pride working as an Operating Room Nurse throughout her entire career. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Family was everything to Sandra; her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Sandra loved her dogs, enjoyed knitting and counted cross-stitch, and spending time at the family cabin.Sandra is survived by her husband, Kevin Littleton; children, Eric (Tykie) Poggemann, Katie (Dan) Cleereman, and Drew Poggemann; step-daughter, Sara (Chris) Darr; grandchildren, Jayden Kelling, Remington Poggemann, Lillian Cleereman, a grandson on the way, Hailey Darr, Maci Darr; brother, Craig (Marilynn) Collins; and father of her children, Russell Poggemann.There will be a celebration of life at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1025 28th Street, West Des Moines.
