San Dee Tucker, 69, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 from complications due to cancer. She was born on July 25, 1942, a second generation Yuman. San Dee was a woman of many accomplishments. She served as President of the Women's Rod and Gun Club, was a Sweet Heart of the Lady Elks BPOE #476 of Yuma, A member of the American Legion Post #19 Auxiliary, Cholla Gun Club, Beta Sigma Phi, Phi Kappa Phi, and Alpha Lambda Delta. San Dee held 2 Associate degrees, a Bachelor of Science degree and was working on the completion of her Masters' degree. She was the only female Production Branch Manager of Northrop King Seed Co. for 25 years and Chief Financial Officer for Rio Colorado Seed. San Dee was survived by her husband of 51 years, Tom Tucker; children, Tim Tucker, Ter Ree Castello, and Tom Tucker; grandchildren, Tiffany Murray; Tommy Tucker, Amanda Rose; great-grandchildren, Candace, Wyatt, Chase, and Devin. Mom/Mamaw encouraged us to better ourselves us to better ourselves and was our anchor. No services will be held.
