Sadao Uehara died on March 18, 2011, at Harborview Medical Center.He was born on Sept. 11, 1950, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Tameji and Florence Uehara. He was the oldest of four children.He married Teresa Joy Uehara after meeting her in Klamath Falls, Ore., in August of 1984. They had one child, Akira Curtis Uehara, in 1985.Sadao worked at the Juneau International Airport for the Transportation Security Administration and also as a music teacher. He enjoyed camping, skiing, snowmobiling, biking and playing music.Memorial information will be announced at a later date.
