LINK, Steven R. 68, of West Carrollton, passed away on December 4, 2016 at . Steve was born on December 18, 1947 to the late John and Hesther (Brown) Link of Ravenna, MI. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda; daughters, Heather (Tom) Slentz, Meredith Link, and Allison Link; grandsons, Tyler Link and Connor Slentz; granddaughter, Linley Slentz; brother, Jack (June) Link; sister, Jane (Dave) Rikkers; and sister-in-law, Sandi (Don) Symonds; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Steve served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army. Steve worked for NCR as a Finance Manager for 25 years and eventually retired from US Bank after 9 years. Steve coached soccer for over 20 years and was very active in his church. He was a lifelong Michigan State Spartan Fan. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, and bicycling. Visitation will be held on December 9, 2016 from 6:00 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on December 10, 2016 at 11:00am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 250 Peach Orchard Ave, Oakwood, Ohio. A Private Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
