Redeker, RuthRuth H. Redeker, age 83, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Shawano, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. Ruth was born on September 18, 1933 in Two Rivers, WI, to the late Gilbert and Elma (Mandel) Rahmlow. On September 10, 1955 Ruth was united in marriage to Howard Redeker in Two Rivers. The couple moved to Thiensville in 1964 where they raised their family before moving to Shawano in 1992 after Howard's retirement. Howard preceded her in death on May 17, 2013. Ruth was a genuine and caring person with a warm smile. She always put the needs of others before her own. She was a former member of Frieden's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bonduel and a current member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.Ruth is survived by: two sons, Michael Redeker of Milwaukee and Edward (Cindy) Redeker of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Charles and Heather Redeker; a step grandson Mike (Christina) Biddle; two great grandchildren, Tucker and Rylee; a step great granddaughter, Jozzlin; one sister, Etta Siehr of Manitowoc; one brother, Gilbert (Beverly) Rahmlow of Gresham; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by: her husband, Howard; her parents; and siblings, Arlene, John, Jean, and Ray.Funeral services for Ruth will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Brett Naumann officiating. Burial will be in Frieden's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00am until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
