Ruth McLaughlinMay 16, 1929 - Dec. 01, 2016GOSHEN - Ruth Marguerite McLaughlin, 87, of Goshen, died at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, at the Maples at Waterford Crossing, Goshen. She had been in declining health. She was born on May 16, 1929 in Elkhart to John H. and Helene (Roeder) Evans. On October 3, 1954 in Mishawaka, she married Wilmer L. McLaughlin; he died October 14, 2007. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret E. McLaughlin of Goshen and Amy K. (Brian Hunsberger) McLaughlin of Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three half-brothers and two half-sisters. A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday December 11, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor Randy Schroeder. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elkhart County Humane Society, or Middlebury Friends of the Parks.
