Ruth Marie Sparger Bennett98, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born on March 23, 1918 in Lafayette, IN to the late Belvia and Elmore Sparger. On April 11, 1935 she married Floyd Bennett. He preceded her in death.Ruth lived for the Lord all of her life. She worked in the medical field for her entire career, taking care of the others and putting their well being in front of hers. She was a very caring and loving person who touched everyone she came into contact with. She was devoted to her family and their happiness.  Ruth is survived by her children; Shirley (Adrian) Sparks, Ladoga, IN, Floyd (Mona) Bennett, Thorntown, IN, Bonnie (Walt) Conkright, Jamestown, NY, David Bennett, Prattville, AL, Cheryl (Roger) Liles, Prattville, AL, Regina Barnes Bennett, Prattville, AL, and Mike Bennett, NC, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd, her children; Barbra Marrs, Jimmy Bennett, Lloyd Deane Bennett, and Connie Bennett; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Yorktown Cemetery, Stockwell, Indiana with Layton Sparks officiating.
