Postgate, Ruth Edith (Smith) 89 of Sun City, AZ passed away on January 11, 2017. She was born on July 12, 1927 to George Elmer and Bertha Jane (Dale) Smith in Johnston, Penn. She is preceded in death By her father George Smith, her mother, Bertha Smith, her husband Richard and her son Wayne Postgate She met Richard in Pennsylvania. They were married Dec 6, 1943. The family moved to AZ in 1955. Ruth dedicated her life to taking care of her seven children. She was confined to a wheel chair in her later life. Ruth's two greatest loves were working crossword puzzles and phone calls to and from her family. She is survived by her sons David, Donald, Larry, Brian, Kenneth And daughter Holly. She is also survived by many grand children and several great grandchildren. Private services were held at Legacy Funeral Home.
