Kuehl, Russell J.Russell J. Kuehl, 86 years old, of Fond du Lac, and formerly of Theresa, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home peacefully with his family at his side.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18th at 12:00 noon at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, with Pastor Ruth Hanson officiating. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 18th from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon service at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Inurnment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Russell John Kuehl was born on June 20, 1930 to Edward and Elenore (Schreier) Kuehl in Addison Center, WI. He was united in marriage to Iola Delores Pixley on January 5, 1948 in Indiana. Together they were married for 57 years. For most of his life Russ worked 2 jobs. He was employed by Line Material of West Bend for 31 years, Maysteel of Mayville, and Broan Mfg. He was also employed as a school bus driver, where he was rewarded for his commendable service. Russell was fondly known as "Mr. Fix-it".Russell and his family were long time active members of Salem United Church of Christ in the township of Wayne, where he was a member since 1961.
