1933 - 2016 Ruby L. Schlett, 82, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on November 29, 1933, in Garrison, to Gladys Soloman Fancher and Richard Fancher, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Ruby is survived by her son, Paul Schlett, of Houston; daughter, Sheila Ramirez and her husband, Tony, of Beaumont; one grandson, Justin Reeder. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Paul Henry Schlett. A gathering of Mrs. Schlett's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2016, at Broussard's, Beaumont, with her graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston.
