Mrs. Ruby Kirk, age 89, of LaGrange, died on December 3, 2014 at the Florence Hand Home.
Mrs. Kirk was born on October 21, 1925 in Milstead, Georgia to the late John Leroy Mayo and Mary Forrester Mayo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Douglas Kirk and a son, Charles Wayne Kirk as well as her husband Charles Douglas Kirk. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Steven and Brenda Kirk of LaGrange; daughter, Connie Kirk of LaGrange; granddaughters, Michelle Smith of Newnan, Penny and Pam Kirk of LaGrange; grandson, Adam Kirk of LaGrange; great grandchildren, Christopher, Bobby Joel, Kyle and Levi; special great great grandson, Bentley; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Bozeman officiating. Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from noon until service hour. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Hospice LaGrange, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, 30240.
