Baer, RubyRuby Baer, age 97 of Appleton passed away on June 14, 2017. Ruby was born on September 28, 1919 in Stockbridge to Louis and Anna (Reichwald) Heller. She was a 1937 graduate of Stockbridge High School. On October 3, 1938 she married Aloysius Baer and they enjoyed 51 years together before he passed away On October 26, 1989. Aloysius and Ruby owned and operated Baer Beverage Inc. and she was the most dedicated employee on staff. They enjoyed their regular Friday Fish Fry, Saturday night dancing at the Cinderella Ballroom. She also travelled to Hawaii with Aloysius and had wonderful memories of that trip. She loved working in her vegetable garden and latch hooking. She was a longtime member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Appleton.She will be sadly missed by: her twin sons, Harold (Loretta) Baer of Hilbert; Gerald (Helene) Baer of Wausau; daughter-in-law Rita Baer of Appleton; grandchildren, Duane (Beth) Baer; Karen (Robert) Matson; Tom (Amber) Baer; Doug Baer; Cheryl Landros; Gail (Walter) Schwede; Greg (Tina) Baer; Andrew (Megyn) Baer, 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other relative and friends.She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Aloysius, 1 son Floyd, 1 grandchild Gwen Baer, 1 sister and 4 brothers.Visitation for Ruby will be on Saturday June 17, 2017 from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Wichmann-Laemmrich Funeral Home of Menasha. Funeral Services for Ruby will be on Saturday at the funeral home at 1:00pm. Entombment will be at a later date at Highland Memorial Park of Appleton.
