ROY W. MOORE Roy W. Moore, age 79, passed away peacefully Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born on October 22, 1937 in Valparaiso, IN to the late George and Magdelyn Moore. He was a retired Truck Driver of Teamsters Local 142. He married Blondy Daugherty on March 1, 1986 in Las Vegas. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother and friend. Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Blondy Moore of Lake Station; two sons: David (Penny) Moore of Portage and Roy (Zeny) Moore of Westville; three daughters: Sandy (Daniel) Pedone of Portage, Jennifer (Nick) Laviolette of Lake Station and Julie (Daryl) Lowe of Lake Station; two brothers: George Moore and Mike (Tammy) Moore; four sisters: Darlene (Ronald) Cavinder, Melody Potts, Margaret (Thomas) Woodworth and Mary (Thomas) Loving; numerous grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by daughter, Susan (John) Taylor; his parents and three brothers: Larry, Thomas, and Richard Moore. Memorial visitation for Roy will be Friday, December 2, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
