Roy Lee Cantrell, age 65 passed away, Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016. Funeral: 1 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Moore Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations can be made to North Texas SPCA, www.spca.org He was born on March 8, 1951, in Layton, Utahm to George and Jo Ann Cantrell. He served in the United States Army. He worked in the automotive parts industry for 30 years. He was an Eagle Scout and loved camp-outs with his troop 393. He loved animals and worked in a vets office when he was young. He loved holidays with his family, especially Christmas. His favorite hobby was playing every version of Angry Birds on his I-phone. He loved Starbucks when he was with his niece Jennifer. He enjoyed Texas Rangers games and UT football. He loved 60's music and two days before his death, he went to a Herman's Hermits concert and had a wonderful time. He was preceded in death by his father, George Cantrell; nieces, Kimberly Conway and Caitlyn Cantrell; and grandmother, Evva Nichols. Survivors: Left to cherish his memory are mother, Jo Ann Cantrell; sisters, Kitty Conway and husband, Joel and Sheri Rinn and husband, Richard; brother, Scott Cantrell and wife, Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
