Risen, RosemaryRosemary A. Risen, age 87 of Gillett, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Rosemary was born on January 9, 1930 to the late Julius and Emily (Holt) Miller. She married Wallace Risen Jr. in 1961. Rosemary was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. Some great joys in Rosemary's life were quilting, farming, and nursing.Rosemary is survived by her son, Wallace (Sheri) Risen III; grandson, Wallace Risen IV; granddaughters, Maria (BJ) McCarthy and Raelene Hellminger; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Makswell, Kadence, Seth, Sawyer, AJ, Terry, Taylor, and Rylee. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; her parents; brother, Robert.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Gillett Baptist Church from 9 am until 10:45 am with the funeral service starting at 11 am with Pastor Reggie Reinhold officiating. Interment will follow the service at Wanderers Rest Cemetery in Gillett. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family.
