Rose L. Rivera passed away October 25, 2016, at the Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA at the age of 82. She was born on April 10, 1934 in Sacramento, CA. She was a life- long resident of Colusa County.Rose enjoyed gardening, loved cooking and being with family. She also occasionally visited the casino.Rose is survived by her sons Raul Rivera (Terri) and Ramon Rivera, both of Colusa, CA; sisters Patricia Quintana of Yuba City, Lois DelRio of Gridley and Margaret Del Rio of Williams; grandchildren Rosa Rivera, Lionor Fantl (Chris), Monique Rivera, Marcianna Rivera, Megan Miller (Roy), and Molly Rivera all of Colusa; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years Ramon Molina Rivera; brother Tony Lopez; sisters Eleanor Lopez, Nancy Lopez and Louisa Roberts.Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2016 with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th Street in Colusa. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 3rd at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4th and Oak Street, Colusa, CA. Blessing service will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made in Rose's name to the Enloe Medical Center Foundation, 249 W.
