WATERFORD - Along with my heart, Ronald Rubin Pliska age 74, of Waterford, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, after a long battle with Parkinsons on Thursday June 19, 2014. Ronald was born on January 4, 1940 in Milwaukee to the late Rufin and Margaret (Blarek) Pliska. On August 5, 1967, he married Theresa Terri Pliska at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Stevens Point. The couple were blessed with 3 children, Dean Pliska, Julie (Mike) Biersack and Patrick Pliska (special friend Christine Gursky). God then was so good and gave us two beautiful granddaughters, Jenna Biersack and Brooke Pliska. He is also survived by his sisters, Dianne (Edward) Obremski and Linda (John) Geder, and a brother-in-law, Glen Burmeister. Ronald worked at Teledyne Wisconsin Motors for 29 years and also for Milwaukee Electric Tool for nine years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. I whispered in his ear the night before he passed, that as soon as his dad found a good fishing spot hed come and get him. Honey have fun fishing. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Miranda Biersack, sister; Barbara Burmeister, brother-in-laws; John Studinski and Jim Schulta. I loved you then, I loved you now, and loved you forever. Goodbye honey love Terri. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 24, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia with the Rev. Gregory Michaud officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home Stevens Point is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ronalds name will be established at a later date.
