Mohs, age 77, died Saturday, Oct. 22nd 2016 at Diamond Willow, Little Falls.A Celebration of Life will be held at Sauk Rapids VFW on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 4:00-8:00 p.m.Ron was born on March 24, 1939 in St. Cloud to Ralph and Vida (Sprague) Mohs.Ron attended Sacred Heart School and Sauk Rapids High School. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in several places in the U.S. and Iceland.On May 7th 1960 he married Linda Richter and they lived in Sauk Rapids, St. Cloud area most of their married life. Ronnie was employed by XCel Optical and then took up painting, wallpapering and owned rental properties.Ronnie enjoyed fishing and golfing and traveling. He was most proud of his hole-in-one and also of his 8 ft. tiger shark. Ronnie and Linda loved traveling in their various motor homes.One trip he alway spoke about was a Christmas trip to Florida with his mom.  Ronnie loved his dachshund "Oko", Micky, BB and Buddy.Ronnie is survived by his wife of 56 years Linda; sons Mike (Michelle), Mitch (Cindy); his grandchildren Jenny, Jamie (Chris Nordmann) and Mitchell; great-grandchildren Hunter and Noland Nordmann; brothers Bob (Frankie), Tim (Karen), Joe (Terry); sisters Karen (Leon Thelon), Bev (Ron Brown), Gretchen (Jeff Johnson), Colleen (Doug Millard), Becky (Tom Schmidt); and sisters-in-law Lois Mohs and Donna Mohs.He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Veda Mohs and brothers Larry and Frank.
