Ronald Edwin BarnhardNEW ALBANY: Ronald Edwin Barnhard, 78, of New Albany, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 27, 1937 in Columbus, OH, a son to the late Ross and Lucile (Harris) Barnhard. Ronald is a U.S. Army Veteran who played trumpet in the Army Band for many years. He was a member of the Pataskala Masonic Lodge #404, the Aladdin Shriners where he played in the Shriner Band and an avid train collector. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Roberta; brother, Charles (Patty); niece and nephew, Kylie and Kevin; brother in law, Ronald Henry Koker; sister in law, Joyce (Carlin) Bartschi and many cousins. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
