Ronald D. BeemZANESVILLE: Ronald D. Beem, 78, of Zanesville, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 10, 1934 in Crooksville the son of the late Bronzon and Iva Beem. He was retired from Brockway Glass Co. where he worked for 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Karen Wofter Beem of the home; eight children Jeff (Wendy) Beem, Rae Ann (Bryan) Jasper, Michelle (Daryle) Holt, Dale Beem, Dawn (Larry) Smetlzer, Bob (Ariana) Beem, Bill (Tina) Rucker, and Steve Rucker; one brother Dan (Charlene) Beem; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A special grandson Billy Rucker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Fred Beem. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
